11th Air Force Patch

11th Air Force Patch — Pacific and Alaskan Air Defense

The 11th Air Force defends Alaska and projects air power across the northern Pacific.

This embroidered patch represents the 11th Air Force, a numbered air force responsible for air operations in Alaska and the northern Pacific region. The 11th Air Force has a distinguished lineage dating back to World War II, when it conducted air operations during the Aleutian Islands campaign against Japanese forces. Today, the 11th Air Force oversees air defense of Alaska, operating fighters, tankers, and surveillance aircraft that monitor and respond to Russian military aviation activity near North American airspace. Alaska's strategic location makes the 11th Air Force a critical component of homeland defense.

Perfect For: 11th Air Force airmen, Alaska-based Air Force personnel, northern Pacific air defense enthusiasts, and USAF numbered air force patch collectors.
