A brown deer, the quiet visitor of every woodland edge, is shaped in porcelain on this graceful box. Painted by hand in Limoges, France, it is a true Limoges box that brings the calm of the forest indoors.
At the Edge of the Woods
Deer have a gentle, watchful presence that has made them a favorite in art and folklore for centuries. This piece captures that stillness in warm brown tones.

Through Every Season
A cabin mantel, a lake house bookshelf or a study with a view of the trees all suit it. It looks especially fitting among autumn leaves in the fall and with pine cones and greenery at Christmas.
Give it to a hiker, someone who just bought a mountain cabin, or a friend who stops to watch deer cross the yard at dusk. It is a peaceful piece that rarely looks out of place, whether the room is rustic or traditional.
